- Manxman, born and bred....widowed........two kids, boy and girl and six grandkids.....most of my working life spent with spanners in my hand, [ including Army service ] first in the auto industry and then, for the most part, maintaining large diesel engines [ and I mean LARGE !] in local power stations. Now retired and trying to keep reasonably active . Spent a lot of time in America ....sadly that all came to an end .
